For the greater part of my life, I put almost all my faith in doctors, and truly believed that if there was a cure for something, they would tell me. But.... I can no longer say this. Please understand that I am not saying doctors are bad people. I am extremely grateful to doctors because they saved my life once in my early 20's. Doctors in the US can be great for emergency care... but when it comes to Preventive Medicine... sometimes that is a completely different story.
Over my lifetime, I have had SO many different conditions that I have struggled with, from urinary tract infections, to acne, to an eating disorder, that no doctor was able to tell me how to TRULY fix, so it wasn't a recurring issue in my life. I had to figure these things out on my own, and ironically, the REALLY EFFECTIVE SOLUTION always seemed to turn out to be something that was simple, easy, and inexpensive.
I'm planning on writing more about this, but I wrote a separate blog I made about the different conditions I suffered with, from my teen years through my adulthood (I haven't even listed them ALL on the blog yet, because I haven't had time). If you look at that blog, you might see why I have the perspective that I do. You can see it by CLICKING HERE.
One thing I did not write about on that blog, was the fact that my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cirrhosis, and he reversed it. I am unable to tell you that the water was definitely the thing that did it or that it was a "cure." I cannot use this word. Let me repeat that: I CANNOT USE THE WORD CURE. EVER.
But I can tell you that my husband drank electrolyzed reduced water, from a certified medical machine, all last year, and then what do you know, a FibroScan showed he no longer had cirrhosis. Even though most doctors will swear up and down that it is irreversible. I'm not telling you the water was a cure. I'm telling you this is what he did, and he didn't do a lot of other things, and you can make your own conclusions. We've definitely made our own!
Scar tissue is a tough and thick (like cancer), and we heard OVER AND OVER that there is no way to reverse it. But he did. I did tons of research and found that there are over a dozen things that are known to reverse scar tissue... and the thing that they had in common is that they are ANTIOXIDANTS. And that water my husband drank was just about the strongest antioxidant you could put into your body. Go figure.
Two years ago I had the choice of listening to the doctors, who were saying my husband was going to have to get a transplant and probably have to go on disability... or I could listen to my own intuition that was telling me there had to be a way.
I almost felt grateful to all those doctors, in the past, who had hidden the best health solutions from me... because it trained me to realize that just because a doctor says there is nothing that will work (besides what they tell you), that does not mean there isn't a better solution out there. It just might take a good amount of research, on your part, to figure out what it is.
In addition, I no longer feel that I can trust doctors to tell me if a medication they are giving, has dangerous side effects, or if it is unnecessary. My husband was given a prescription medication called Pantropazole, which is a Proton Pump Inhibitor. This medication causes scarring of the liver (something we were desperately trying to reverse), and Osteoporosis. It says on the FDA's website that these medications shouldn't be taken for more than six weeks. You'd think that at least one of the many doctors my husband saw, could have warned him about the side effects of these medications. But not one person did.
I have spoken to many people with cirrhosis, and in every case where a person was taking Pantoprazole, the doctors never told them about the side effects. In my mind, that's kind of like calling the fire department to put out a fire, and instead of showing up with a water hose, they bring a can of gasoline. But I suppose they don't see it this way. In the mind of a doctor who truly believes there is no way to reverse cirrhosis, what's a little more scar tissue? It really depends on your own mindset. Doctors don't believe a lot of things can be reversed or healed. Why go for the cheap route, when they have a much more extreme solution? After all, extreme must mean effective, right? Why try to heal your cancer naturally when you can get chemo and radiation for $300K? Why try to heal your liver when you can get a brand new one for $500K?
It's the culture we live in.
